Ian Holloway joked he would have to 'kill' listening media if he let slip that Kazenga LuaLua would feature for QPR at Reading tomorrow night.

Bearing in mind the need to get value for Rs loan money to Brighton for the exciting winger, it was no surprise he's been added to the squad for the short trip down the M4 to the Madejski Stadium.

The Rs manager also hinted at places for return loanees Darnell Furlong and Michael Doughty.

"I don't think I can tell you about Lua-Lua - I'd have to kill you," Ollie said.

"Of course he is in the squad.

"He's someone I've admired for a long time. I've had his brother before.

"Every time I've seen him I've told him how good he can be. It's definitely our gain. He can get past people. He's missed a couple of games through a silly suspension."

In fact, the Congolese Seagull missed four games after being sent off against AFC Wimbledon in the EFL Trophy in early December, and is short of match fitness.

He might make an hour of the Reading clash, although Holloway also thinks Mide Shodipo on the other wing will give him the pace he craves.

"I've got another one I think can beat people but he's a bit younger," the manager added. "That may enable me to play a different formation.

"I've got two new signings in Michael Doughty and Darnell Furlong - that's like having two new signings. It's watch this space."
