MARK Hughes has warned his QPR stars to be careful what they say on Twitter.
Joey Barton and several other members of the squad are active users of the social networking site.
The controversial captain blasted fans after being booed off during the recent win against Liverpool, while on-loan Manchester United striker Federico Macheda vented his anger after being left out of the draw with Everton last month.
The club already has a policy in place warning players and staff to me mindful what they post online.
But boss Hughes says he will consider a clampdown in the summer if he sees fit.
“I think every club will look at their policy," the Loftus Road chief told the Chronicle .
"We'll review everything as a matter of course in the summer. If we think it needs standing up we will look at that.
“At the moment, I'm quite calm about it. Players understand they can't talk about what happens within the club. If confidence is let out then there's consequences.
“We're fine with it but if we feel it needs standing up then we will do.”
