NEIL Warnock plans to use the loan market to boost his options in the January transfer window.

The QPR boss wants to bring in as many as SIX players in the new year, with a central defender and striker top of his wish list.

But rather than splash the cash, Warnock will look to loan some players from some of the top clubs.

He said: “We’ll be looking at loaning one or two players – a couple in England and probably one abroad.

“We want people who’ve maybe got something to prove, like Kyle Walker last year. I think we helped make him the player he is today.

“We’re hoping to do that again. There are one or two very good young Premier League players who need games. We’re looking to pick the brains of the top clubs.”
