IT’S easier for Harry Redknapp to go direct to Bournemouth on April 5 than a QPR home match – but the Rangers boss is dreading it.

Harry lives down the road from Dean Court in picturesque Poole and journeys up from the south coast every day to west London for training.

Bournemouth is also the club where the manager successfully cut his teeth 30 years ago. Apart from beating Manchester United in the FA Cup, he won the old third division title during his nine years at the helm.

But the Hoops boss is under no illusions just what he faces at a number of Championship clubs including the one promoted last season under talismanic coach Eddie Howe.

Redknapp said: “I can’t say I’m looking forward to it that much - I’d rather be going to Old Trafford.

“It will be a hard game believe me. I’ve watched them (Bournemouth) last season and they’ve played some good football. They’ll turn some teams over, and that’s all I need to get beat so close to home.”
