NEIL Warnock hit out at the Premier League after QPR were forced to play third-choice keeper Radek Cerny in this afternoon's defeat at Norwich.

With Paddy Kenny and number two Brian Murphy set for long spells on the sidelines, the Rangers boss asked if the club could be given special dispensation to bring in another shotstopper on an emergency loan.

QPR's request was turned down, meaning 37-year-old Cerny, who has played just twice for the first-team in more than a year, was between the sticks at Carrow Road.

Warnock fumed: “Paddy injured his side at Stoke, as did Murphy. They are both going to be out for a while.

“We asked the Premier League for permission for an emergency loan but they took two days to say no. That really disappoints me.

“Raddy has a long-standing injury, which is why he's only played a couple of games for the reserves over the last 12 months.

“I am really disappointed with the Premier League to be honest.”
