QPR welcome back three players from injury - although how many feature against Arsenal is up for debate.

Head coach Chris Ramsey reckons midfielder Sandro, defenders Mauricio Isla and Nedum Onuoha have recovered from various knocks as the side faces the daunting task of extracting three points from the high-flying Gunners at Loftus Road tomorrow night.

Rs were unlucky in a 2-1 defeat at The Emirates on Boxing Day, but are missing suspended Joey Barton along with long-term injuries Leroy Fer and Richard Dunne.

Ramsey reckons vociferous home support could make all the difference as the club looks to pull away from the drop zone.

Near: Nedum Onuoha

He said: “The crowd will be big for us at home. They were excellent at Hull. Hopefully we can give them something to shout about.

"Nedum is nearly fit, as is Mauricio Isla - they're the two that are close to a return. Sandro is back and ready.

“We're pleased with the way the medical staff have handled the injured players.”

Contention: Mauricio Isla (L)

It’s London teams all the way for the next three games, with Tottenham at home on Saturday followed by Crystal Palace the week after.

But first rookie boss Ramsey has to try and get one over a manager he throughly respects.

"Arsenal are a fantastic technical team. They can take anyone apart when they're at their best. "It will be an honour to be sat next to Arsene (Wenger). You'd be a fool not to have learned something from Arsene and his philosophies over the years. But like I say, all I am focused on is the job that I've got to do.”

The first task in hand is to appoint a replacement captain after Barton ruled himself out for all three games following his red card at Hull.

"The captaincy is important to a point, but we've got a number of leaders here, so that doesn't worry me,” explained Ramsey. “I haven't decided who will captain us at the moment. That's something we will look at.”
