ARMAND Traore faces a race against time to be fit for Sunday's showdown with relegation rivals Wigan after suffering an ankle injury in last night's defeat at Fulham.

The QPR defender limped off late on after a rash tackle from Steve Sidwell – a challenge which earned the midfielder a straight red from referee Lee Probert.

Traore left Craven Cottage on crutches and will be assessed over the next couple of days ahead of the visit of the Latics.

Meanwhile, DJ Campbell has returned from his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers after being ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a foot injury.

The 31-year-old has broken the fifth metatarsal in his right foot and is back at Loftus Road for treatment.
