What a choker! Brentford appeared to be cruising to victory over a seemingly toothless QPR side in tonight's derby at Loftus Road, but managed to somehow throw it away by conceding two injury time goals.

The inquest will be a bitter one for a Bees side who have not thrown away 18 points from winning positions this season. But what should not be forgotten were some fine performances from the men in red and white before the clock ticked past 90 minutes. Here how we rated the Bees.

Bentley 6

Almost cost Brentford the lead when they were a goal up with a flap which are becoming far too frequent and was at fault for QPR's first, although his back four should have done better with the second.

Clarke 7

Little chance to repeat the heroics of his last two visits to Loftus Road as defensive duties came first, but still got forward well and put in a good shift.

Barbet 7

An excellent first half from the Frenchman saw him get forward at every opportunity, but had to concentrate more on his defensive duties after the break as the hosts turned up the pressure.

Egan 7

Made two crucial first half interceptions which could otherwise easily had led to QPR goals.

Bjelland 7

Done the simple stuff with the minimum of fuss, although Matt Smith gave him food for thought when he came on for the home side.

Mokotjo 7

Some good moments from the South African, who drifted in and out of the game, but played a crucial part in the lovely second goal.

Woods 8

A real terrier-like performance in the middle of the park – one superb sequence in the first half saw him steam through three consecutive challenges near the centre circle and somehow come out with the ball each time against the odds.

Yennaris 7

A brilliant assist to not only hold off the challenge but also find Vibe, and then go so close himself just minutes later. But his unseen work deserves a mention too – a case in point being dropping in to fill for Barbet when one of the left back's excursions forward ended with the Frenchman losing possession.

Jozefzoon 6

Saw his evening come to a premature end through injury, before which he was having a decent enough game.

Vibe 7

It was proving to be a frustrating night of little going right for the Dane until he suddenly came alive with a brillinatly clinical goal. He could have got two more soon afterwards having got in the right positions, and was so again for the second goal.

Canos 8

Handed his first start since returning from injury a month or so ago, the Spaniard was in irresistible form, giving a reminder of his energetic and skillful displays in the second half of last season. Gave the home defence a torrid time and was desperately unlucky not to score.

Watkins ( on for Jozefzoon 30 ) 6

Surprisgingly dropped, despite a poor performance against Burton Albion, and didn't exactly send a message to the gaffer when he came on, but still young and still learning. Unlucky not to ice the cake late on for the Bees.

Sawyers ( on for Canos 72 ) 6

Didn't have much time to make an impact but sure as hell did, linking up superbly with Mokotjo and Vibe for the second goal.

Maupay ( on for Vibe 81 ) 6

Replaced Vibe straight after the Dane's second goal, came on and made himself busy.
