GOALKEEPER James Pullen has signed a new contract with AFC Wimbledon.

The 27-year-old is the second shot-stopper in seven days to put pen to paper with Terry Brown's boys, after youngster Jack Turner signed a professional contract last week.

And Brown is delighted the former Ipswich, Blackpool and Peterborough keeper has extended his stay at Kingsmeadow.

He said: "We have been unable to sign James before now because he has been on holiday, but as soon as he returned I got him to come into the office and we sorted out the details very quickly.

"James is a quality keeper and I am very pleased that he has re-signed for us.

"He has great presence, which always makes a defence feel comfortable, and some of his saves in the run in to the championship were superb. He will be a great asset in the Blue Square Premier."
