With fans, players and pundits up and down the country analysing the newly-released Premier League fixtures which were announced this morning, we take a look at how QPR got in in their last three opening weekends in the top-flight.

Just as a heads-up, it doesn't make pleasurable reading...

August 13 2011 Queens Park Rangers 0 Bolton Wanderers 4

A crushing opening day defeat as goals from Gary Cahill, Danny Gabbidon (og), Kevin Davies and Fabrice Muamba swept Neil Warnock's side away with ease. Thankfully the result wasn't an omen for the season ahead as the Hoops secured a 17th place finish, securing their top flight status for another year.

QPR starting line-up: Kenny, Gabbidon, Hall, Hill, Taarabt, Dyer, Faurlin, Derry, Bothroyd, Smith, Campbell.

August 18 2012 - Queens Park Rangers 0 Swansea City 5

Another opening day horror show as Michael Laudrup got off to an outstanding start to his managerial reign in Wales. Doubles from Michu and Nathan Dyer set Swansea on their way against QPR who crumbled before Scott Sinclair finished the rout. A match which would set the trend for a troublesome season which saw the Hoops relegated back to the Championship.

QPR starting line-up: Green, Ferdinand, Hill, Onuouha, Fabio, Diakite, Park Ji Sung, Taarabt. Cisse. Mackie, Hoilett

August 16 2014 Queens Park Rangers 0 Hull City 1

A day where QPR were unfortunate not to get anything out of the game. James Chester gave Hull the lead after he outmuscled debutant Rio Ferdinand in the area, before Allan McGregor saved a Charlie Austin penalty after Chester handballed.

QPR starting line-up: Green, Caulker, Ferdinand, Dunne, Simpson, Faurlin, Mutch, Barton, Traore, Remy, Austin.
