The post Edgar Davids era at Barnet will commence at home to Aldershot Town tonight.

Saturday's humbling 2-1 defeat away to Chester spelt the end of Davids' time at the club, with the head coach resigning by mutual agreement shortly after the game.

He has been replaced, temporarily, by Paul Fairclough, who will start his fourth spell in the Barnet dugout.

His task of gaining a win will not be made easier by the absence of Graham Stack, who remains out with a calf problem, which will see Nick Jupp continue to deputise in goal.

Other than that, there are no real injury concerns from The Bees, but Fairclough may choose to mix things up a bit.

One player who might start is Harry Crawford, who set up a fantastic assist for Jake Hyde's ninth goal of the season on Saturday.

Barnet go into the game in 10th place, but can leapfrog into the final play-off space providing they win and other results go their way.
