Relieved QPR finally cured their travel sickness with a superb victory at Sunderland's Stadium of Light this evening.

Rangers had set a new Premier League record having failed to pick up a single point from their first 11 fixtures on the road this season.

But they travelled nearly 300 miles tonight and claimed all three against Gus Poyet's men as rumours intensified Michael Laudrup will replace Harry Redknapp.

Caretaker boss Chris Ramsey said: “With the players we’ve got we probably should’ve had an away victory by now. I’ve been fortunate to be here when it’s happened.

“It’s been a long time coming. We’ve had some good away performances but just haven’t had the rub of the green.

“We did ride our luck at times in a few instances but on the other hand we created some chances for ourselves.”
