Fulham boosted their play-off ambitions with the 4-0 thumping of Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Goals from Ross McCormack, Shaun Hutchinson, Lasse Vigen Christensen and Cauley Woodrow sealed the points as the Cottagers climbed above the Owls in the table.

McCormack opened the scoring on 34 minutes when he curled home an unstoppable free-kick before Hutchinson broke his Fulham duck on the stroke of half-time to double their lead.

Christensen clinched victory for the Cottagers on 67 minutes when he finished off a fine breakaway goal. Substitute Woodrow added gloss to the scoreline with a stoppage-time penalty.
