Brentford romped to a 4-1 win over Huddersfield and returned to the play-off positions, thanks to a brace from Chris Long.

The Everton loanee opened the scoring inside four minutes but Harry Bunn equalised midway through the first-half.

The Bees retook the lead six minutes after half-time as Long blasted home from close range and were in control for the rest of the contest.

Happy days: Jon Toral (3rd R) celebrates scoring the fourth goal for Brentford

Alex Pritchard put the game to bed soon after with a deflected effort that looped over Alex Smithies in the Huddersfield goal.

And Jon Toral followed up his hat-trick against Blackpool last Tuesday with a fine strike in stoppage time.

After the game, manager Mark Warburton paid tribute to Long, believing the young striker can help fire the Bees towards the Premier League .
