Jose Mourinho insists Oscar is no diver – and that he has no cheats in his squad.
The Brazilian midfielder came under the microscope at Southampton on New Year's Day when he took a flier after anticipating a challenge from the goalkeeper.
But although the Chelsea boss accepted ref Martin Atkinson was right to yellow card Oscar over the incident, he has not spoken to his play-maker about it, because he does not consider him be a repeat offender.
“It's impossible for him to have a reputation,” Mourinho said. “Unless someone wants to be unfair and wants to clean the image of other people by using the Oscar situation.
“I want it to be clear. There are many divers in world of football. Many at some big clubs. There are some divers in England, not many. In Chelsea, no divers, at all.
“Oscar made a mistake. He tells me he was convinced the keeper was coming to smash him.
“He made a mistake and was punished with a yellow card. End of story. Here we don't have divers.”
