LIAM O'NEILL struck four goals as Chiswick Albion thrashed Shirehorse 9-0 in the second round of the Ace Awards Cup on Sunday.

Liam White threaded a great ball through for O'Neill to open the scoring before getting on the score-sheet himself from Greg Veazey's free-kick.

White again set up O'Neill for the third after beating the offside trap before Paul Edgehill was brought down in the box for an Albion penalty.

Stand-in Albion keeper Nick Wozniak had made taking any penalties a condition of him taking the gloves, and he duly netted the spot-kick.

O'Neill completed his hat-trick in style after the break, running from the halfway line to round the keeper and fire home.

O'Neill then returned one of White's two favours from the first-half by setting him up for his second before a Veazey corner went straight in - but a goal-kick given!

Dean Francis celebrated his return to the side by putting in Edgehill for number seven, before Brian Flynn was thrown into the fray to kill Shirehorse off.

Flynn fired home O'Neill's pass before returning the compliment to tee up O'Neill's fourth.

Also in the Ace Award Cup, Barnes Albion beat AFC Teddington 9-2 and Fulwell City beat Brentford Town Sunday 5-2.

* MARK SCOTCHFORD will be out for the rest of the season after dislocating his shoulder playing for Bedfont Sunday on Sunday.

But the rest of his teammates shared the pain too as, having used all three subs, they were down to 10 men and crashed out of the Harry Edmondson Cup semi-final 5-1 to Sunbury Athletic.

But there was better news for Bedfont Sunday A, who reached the Keal Cup quarter-finals after beating Meadhurst 2-0.

Keeper George Costin opened the scoring by beating his opposite number with an almighty kick, while Carl Buckley bagged a second.

In Division Three, Bedfont Sunday Sports drew 3-3 with Feltham FC Whites, while in the Veterans League, Bedfont Sunday Vets drew 1-1 with Barnes Albion Vets.

* LEON SMITH set up two and scored the winner as Chiswick Griffin came from behind to win 3-2 at Twickenham Rangers.

Mark Hartnett gave Griffin the lead in the West Middlesex Premier clash, linking up with Smith before slotting home.

But two Twickenham goals put them in the driving seat, and they could have sealed it with 15 minutes left, but Simon Greening saved a one-on-one.

Moments later, Griffin were level when good work between Smith and Matt Moran led to the latter cutting into the area and finishing well.

And with time running out, Rob Cuddeford supplied the through-ball for Smith to grab the winner.
