North Greenford win 4-0 against a team with no goals

United make it two out of two pre-season

Dust storm: A Guildford player hits the deck against NGU

North Greenford United made it two wins out of two in their pre-season campaign when they beat a club 4-0 who have no goals.

Reprieved from relegation at the last minute after a non-league shuffle of clubs that would put Muhammad Ali to shame in his prime, NGU were asked to shift from Guildford City’s home ground, currently without goalposts, to the local community centre in Mychett, Surrey for Saturday’s match.

All goals were scored by triallists hoping to impress the gaffer into taking them on.

And it proved something of a cakewalk for Barry Morris’s men hoping to improve on a lowly 21st I last season’s Southern League Division One Central that would have relegated them any other campaign.

Prior to playing Guildford, United beat Southall 1-0 at home last week.
