The one new Fulham player has revealed he was finally sold on the club by an ex-Whites loanee.

Floyd Ayité has joined on an initial three-year deal from Bastia, and the 27-year-old said it helped that someone who knew who knew what life is like in SW6 and the Championship gave him the nod.

Ayité made the switch from the French Ligue 1 side where Manchester City's Seko Fofana also played last term.

Fulham fans will remember Fofana from the season before last when he made 25 appearances in white scoring once.

“I spoke about Fulham with him and he said many good things,” Ayité revealed. “He said it’s a good club with many good guys, it’s a good league and that I’d like playing in England.

“So that was good for me and I’m happy with my choice to sign here,” he told the club’s official website.

Ayité presented his own CV and what Whites fans can expect from him. There is a second helping in the video at the top of the page.

“I’m a winger, left or right, and I can also play just behind the striker,” he explained. “I like to run into space, I’ve got good agility, so I hope to show my talent in the first game against Newcastle.”
