MARTIN Rowlands is under pressure to go out on loan next month – or risk being frozen out of QPR's promotion drive.
The midfielder is fit again after months out with a knee injury but can't win a place in the starting line-up.
Rowlands rejected a move to Crystal Palace before the loan window slammed shut last month.
But boss Neil Warnock believes the Irishman will only get the extra sharpness he needs to return to the fold by playing competitive football elsewhere – and made it clear the former Hoops skipper has to take the loan option.
“I've spoken to Crystal Palace [about him] and a couple of other clubs have asked me over the last few months," said Warnock.
"I've told Martin who they are, but at the minute he doesn't want to do anything.
“At the moment, he's not getting in the side. He needs first team games and I can't see him getting in my team. He says he doesn't get anything out of friendlies.
“But that's down to Martin really, because I'm not forcing anybody to go."
