JOSE Mourinho insists he's got other irons in the fire in case Chelsea fail in their pursuit of Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney .
The Blues are set to make a third bid for the England international after seeing their first two offers rejected by the Premier League champions.
United boss David Moyes maintains Rooney won't be sold, but Chelsea are poised to test their resolve before the window closes.
However, the Special One says he has other options if they fail to land Rooney, with Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto'o , who played under him at Inter Milan reportedly on his radar.
He said: "We have plans B and C. Don't ask me names because it's difficult to speak about players from other clubs."
