Jose Mourinho says Chelsea were undone by four key decisions by referee Martin Atkinson in their 1-1 draw with Burnley at Stamford Bridge.

But the Blues' boss was scrupulous in refusing to criticise the official after receiving a series of fines from the FA for doing that in the past.

Furious: Jose Mourinho

“I prefer not to comment, because if I comment I am going to use some words,” he said.

“A couple of weeks ago when I was here in the press conference after the Liverpool game in the Capital One Cup I knew already that was gone, and gone on the television – 'Diego Crimes'.

“Compare 'Diego Crimes' with what happened today.”

Mourinho, when asked about his issues, would say only: “Minute 30, minute 33, minute 43, minute 69.”

He appeared to be referring to four incidents, the fist and last of those where Ashley Barnes delivered what he considered red card challenges against Branislav Ivanovic and Nemanja Matic – the latter of whom was sent off for retaliation.

The other two corresponded with a handball in the box by Michael Kightly, and Diego Costa being tugged down by Jason Shackell – both of which looked like Chelsea penalties which were disallowed by Atkinson.

Chelsea now face three matches without Matic – who is expected to be banned for violent conduct.
