Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker is 'one of the best young midfielders in the country' according to MK Dons manager Karl Robinson, who has also been amazed by his work-rate
The 19-year-old is on loan with the Buckinghamshire club for the rest of the season and has scored two goals in five league games since linking up with his new team-mates.
And Robinson, who watched his player represent England U20 against Mexico on Wednesday, has been delighted with the impact the midfielder has had on his side.
He told GetWestLondon : “I think he's one of the best young midfielders in the country. The way he plays his football compliments what he does at Chelsea.
“We're very fortunate to have him playing for us. He excited me every time I see him play.”
Robinson paid homage to Baker's work-rate and believes the 19-year-old has the ability and attitude to become the best player he can be.
The MK Dons boss added: “What people don't realise is he's one of the hardest working players I've ever worked with.
“He works so hard to make the best of his ability. He's got the ability and work ethic to reach the best of his ability.”
