Matt Phillips has all the 'ammunition' to be a success in the Premier League, according to Harry Redknapp.

The QPR midfielder suffered an injury-ravaged 12 months at Loftus Road since his switch from Blackpool, with a broken arm and then a serious ankle problem hindering his progress.

However, the 23-year-old is back to fitness and Redknapp has called for the Scotland international to ease the burden on striker Charlie Austin.

"He's got all the ammunition," said the Loftus Road boss. "He's big, powerful, quick and has good skill.

"He needs to weigh in with a few goals. He can do it. He needs lots of work but there's definitely a talent there."
