A Birmingham City fan has been left with egg on his face after getting a tattoo of Harry Redknapp on his leg.
Redknapp was sacked by the Blues yesterday after their fifth straight Championship defeat left them second from bottom in the table.
But for one Blues fan, the memory of Redknapp will live on, and will live on "just above the ankle" after agreeing to get a tattoo of the former Tottenham, West Ham and Southampton manager.
Vlogger Brummie Joe tweeted during the transfer window that if Birmingham signed midfield maestro Jota from Brentford, he would get a tattoo of Redknapp hanging out of a car window on his leg
Jota signed the following day and Brummie Joe had a decision to make.
He stayed true to his word and went through with the wager last week, getting Redknapp's face hanging out of a car window tattooed just above his ankle.
Just eight days after the tattoo was inked, however, Redknapp was sacked.
But the tattoo will remain, and will live on as a constant reminder to the YouTuber that Redknapp was once his team's manager and that they signed Spanish star Jota from Brentford.
