NEDUM Onuoha is set to have a medical at QPR in the next 24 hours.

Rangers have agreed a fee in the region of £3million for the Manchester City defender, with boss Mark Hughes hopeful of tying up a deal for the versatile 25-year-old.

The centre-back's mother and representative Dr Anthonia Onuoha warned on Friday that a deal was far from done.

But the Chronicle understands QPR have now thrashed out terms with the former England U21 international, who is due to have a medical shortly before completing the move to Loftus Road .
