LEEDS United boss Neil Warnock has ruled out a move for QPR midfielder Shaun Derry .

The former R's manager had been linked with a summer raid of his old club, with keeper Paddy Kenny , defender Clint Hill and Derry reportedly on his radar.

Warnock is still hopeful of capturing Kenny once QPR have signed another first-choice keeper, while Hill is poised to sign a new one-year deal at Loftus Road.

But the United chief is not interested in bringing Derry, who is entering the final year of his contract in W12, to Elland Road.

The 34-year-old made 78 appearances for Leeds during three seasons for the Yorkshire club before being brought to Crystal Palace by Warnock in 2008.

But the Chronicle understand he won't be rejoining his old boss again.
