QPR thoroughly deserved to take a point from Elland Road as they drew 0-0 with Leeds United.

The R's are now unbeaten in their last six against Leeds and they kept up their excellent record with a battling performance.

Not only did they restrict the home side to barely a single clear-cut chance, but Conor Washington had two excellent opportunities to break the deadlock for a famous three points.

The physicality of his side’s performance particularly pleased boss Ian Holloway who is keen for Rangers to shed their lightweight tag.

“We’re certainly not flitty, farty QPR are we,” he said.

Plenty of bottle: Ian Holloway

“We all want to see lads standing up for each other and I think the referee should have let go the two yellow cards he gave Leeds. This crowd, if you don’t tackle, they aren’t happy are they?

“We were crying out for a bit of skill to beat someone but I love a good old-fashioned tackle. There were plenty of them out there.”
