Lasse Vigen Christensen is expecting a few thank yous from his parent club Fulham after Burton Albion gave them a helping hand on the weekend.

The 22-year-old has spent the latter half of the season on loan at the Pirelli Stadium after joining with Cauley Woodrow in January and the Dane starred as Burton beat Leeds 2-1, meaning if Fulham defeat Brentford they will all but secure a play-off spot.

Burton have won seven of the 15 games the Denmark U21 international has played in and after their latest victory Christensen is expecting some thank you from his Craven Cottage team mates and is hopeful they can go and finish the job off against the Bees on Saturday.

He told the Burton Mail : "I'm expecting a few letters coming in the mailbox saying 'thank you'!

"It's obviously nice as well, to be able to help them. It would be great to see them back in the Premier League, but they have to go and do it themselves now.

"We've done them a few favours over the season, so hopefully they can finish it off now."
