CHELSEA are poised to open talks with Frank Lampard over a new deal at Chelsea.
The Blues midfielder played a major part in their FA Cup and Champions League triumphs, but has just 12 months remaining on his current deal.
However, the club will sit down with the 33-year-old, who has made more than 500 appearances for Chelsea, in the next few months regarding an extension.
Florent Malouda and Michael Essien are also entering the final year of their contracts, with the duo also expected to hold talks with the Blues over the summer.
