FRANK Lampard has slated people who claim that team-mate Didier Drogba is unhappy about sitting on the Chelsea bench.
Drogba, until the arrival of Fernando Torres an automatic pick for Chelsea, was a second half substitute for the Blues last night against Manchester United .
He has failed to make Carlo Ancelotti's starting XI three times out of the last four; and some have claimed he is deeply unhappy and ready to move on.
Asked about the striker's reaction to being benched, Lampard said: "His reaction has been brilliant.
"And it is a load of nonsense when people come out and say that he doesn't warm-up, or he's got got the hump in the dressing room.
"He's been far from that. He's been a mouthpiece in the dressing room; behind the lads before games saying 'come on lads'.
"He's trained with commitment, and he came on against Manchester United and he played with commitment.
"So it is absolute nonsense to say he's been sulking."
