Tigers claimed their first win in four attempts thanks in no small measure to the returning Kye Davies.

After the striker's long layoff through injury,he wasted no time in restoring the Maida Vale side's fortunes when he was set up by Adil Salih, whose through ball was perfect for Davies to drive it across the keeper and into the bottom right-hand corner after 27 minutes.

Davies then turned provider for Renars Zarchenko. But the Haringey keeper did well to parry a fierce drive from an acute angle at the back post.

All the traffic signs pointed one way as Tigers battered the Borough goal. But they had to wait until the 71st minute to clinch the points after Edson Cata exchanged passes with Zarchenkobefore thumping an unstoppable shot from 15 yards.

Tigers are up to sixth.
