Kevin McDonald has backed Fulham's misfiring forwards to come good ahead of tonight's game with Bristol City.

Aboubakar Kamara and Rui Fonte, who were signed in the summer, have scored just the three goals between them while Fulham's other forwards are struggling to hit the back of the net also.

That blank streak in front of goal continued on Saturday as Fulham rescued a result against bottom of the league Bolton, courtesy of a header from skipper Tom Cairney .

It's frustrating for everyone, but McDonald says there's no one more frustrated than those in the Fulham dressing room and backs their strikers to come good.

"I think we're hitting the targets and stuff, no taking anything away from Bolton on Saturday but the goalie had a great game and two of the centre halves have blocked ten balls - they're throwing themselves on the line," he said.

"That's what we have to do as well when we're defending, but the forward like will come good, I thought Aboubakar (Kamara) came back and did well today and Floyd (Ayite) always gives you something a bit different.

"They'll come good, it's just a frustrating time and no one is more frustrated than the boys in the dressing room."
