MIDDLESEX COUNTY SENIOR CUP - ROUND ONE: North Kensington 2 Indian Gymkhana 3

They started late and finished strong - but it wasn't enough for North Kensington on Sunday in the Middlesex County Senior Cup.

North Ken were 3-0 down to soft headers on every occasion before they finally smelled the coffee, and it was Liam Clement who brewed up the revival.

The NK player beat four play-ers before slotting home, and then used his electric pace to repeat the trick to put his side right back in the tie.

Try as Clement and co might the equaliser proved elusive and their team have a 12-month wait to put matters right next season.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY RESERVE DIVISION Brentham 5 NORTH KENSINGTON 3

HAVING done the hard work of getting back to 3-3 after going 3-0 down - North Ken reserves were hit by two sucker punches on Sunday.

Hilal Hamden, Jermaine Simon and Michael King were all on the scoresheet with a double assist from Neil Tamer. But a North Ken disallowed effort was the turning point as Brentham stormed back with late strikes.
