Jose Mourinho got his wish as Chelsea have been paired with Paris Saint-Germain in the first knockout round of the Champions League.

The Special One earlier this expressed a desire to play the French champions despite Laurent Blanc’s side boasting a host of star names.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani, Lucas Moura, Ezequiel Lavezzi and former Blues defender David Luiz are all in line to play for PSG in the last 16 clash.

"If I could choose, I would say Paris,” Mourinho said this month.

“We don’t have a lot to choose because we only have five possibilities but, to make it easy for everybody, Paris.

“It is easy for us to travel, easy for the fans to travel and we don’t spend a lot of money to go there.

“They are a very good team and I prefer a good team that really motivates the boys.”

Chelsea eliminated PSG at the quarter-final stage of last season’s competition on their way to making the semi-final.

The first leg takes place the week of the 16th of February with the second leg to take place the week of March 9.
