PAJTIM Kasami has been warned he's not guaranteed a place in Fulham's first-team squad despite his impressive start to the season.

The young midfielder has started both of their Premier League games, scoring the winning goal at Sunderland on the opening day, while Bryan Ruiz has been kicking his heels on the sidelines.

Kasami spent the second half of the season on loan at Lucerne, and Jol has refused to rule out another loan switch if his chances at Craven Cottage prove limited.

He said: “For me the main factor is that he made a big step and it’s about success.

"Last year and the year before he didn’t have a lot of success so we put him on loan and he’s come back and had a good pre-season, a few assists and a goal against Sunderland.

“So he has made a big step but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s in the team now and he knows that.”

Jol added: “It’s a little problem to put him on loan abroad because in England you get them back. They need games - that is the main thing.

“I’m always looking at their situation and try to get the best for them and for us.”
