MARTIN Jol admits Fulham failed to take their chances as they were well beaten by Chelsea.
A David Luiz wonder-strike and John Terry's headed double earned the Blues bragging rights with a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage.
But boss Jol says it all could've been different had Bryan Ruiz not blazed over early on.
He said: “I'm disappointed we didn't capitalise on the first 30 minutes.
“It's always better if you score goals, and if Bryan Ruiz scores it could've been a different match.
“We played the four attacking players and had a good go at them.
"They're a strong team, you know. The players they brought back into the team, Terry, for example, scored two goals.
“We've done well in the last three months defending set-pieces. Tonight we didn't.”
Fulham remain in the top 10 despite the defeat, and Jol has set his players a target of three wins from their remaining five games.
He added: “We have to stay out of trouble, and we have a heavy schedule. Hopefully we can register another eight or nine points.”
