THERE are no plans to welcome back Danny Murphy into the Fulham fold as a coach.

The former Whites captain, who left for Blackburn Rovers last summer, is said to be keen on taking up a coaching role somewhere and would be interested in a return to Craven Cottage.

But Fulham boss Martin Jol says it's highly unlikely for now, since the midfielder is not qualified.

“Ten years ago, you could get your licence in the supermarket with the bacon and the beans, but now you have to do your course,” Jol said. “So I don't see that happening because in England, it's quite firm – you have to go on courses and get your licence.

“We haven't thought about it and we haven't spoken about it. I don't even know what he wants. He's at Blackburn. It was his decision to go there, so maybe he'll be a coach at Blackburn, I don't know.”
