MARTIN Jol is considering offering a new deal to crocked defender Zdenek Grygera .

The versatile Czech has been ruled out for the season after suffering a knee injury against Wolves before Christmas.

Grygera is out of contract at the end of June, and unlikely to be fit until the start of pre-season training at the earliest.

However, Fulham boss Jol admits he will need to make a decision whether to retain Grygera or risking losing him.

He said: “We have to make a decision on that. He was on a one-year [deal] but we have to make him fit and then he will be back in July or August.

“There will be clubs in for him, [but] if we want to keep him and he wants to stay I think we will find a solution.”
