John Terry says Chelsea want to go all the way in the FA Cup after crushing MK Dons to set up a fifth-round date with Manchester City.

Oscar netted a first-half hat-trick in a 5-1 demolition job at Stadium MK while Eden Hazard ended his long wait for a goal and Bertrand Traore opened his account.

It was a fine afternoon’s work for the Blues in Buckinghamshire and skipper Terry says his side are up for the cup despite having their work cut out to make the Premier League top four.

He told the BBC: "The majority of the squad know what the FA Cup is about. We had to come out of the blocks and we did, it could have been three or four early on.

“It's great for Eden to get off the mark, he's just come back from injury and now he can kick on. It's good at the moment, we are playing well.

“It would nice to be on a cup run, you want to go all the way once you're in it."

MK Dons find themselves in a relegation dogfight near the bottom of the Championship.

Boss Karl Robinson says Oscar’s lethal first-half finishing stunned his boys and is glad he doesn’t have to face players of the quality of the Samba star every week.

He added: "It was scary. I've not had that before. They were on it. They were quality all over the pitch.

“I think one or two of mine let themselves down today but that's the reality of the industry. I have a team to pick to face Cardiff and there are one or two who will be waiting in the wings.

"Defensively today we got carved up far too easy. But there's some stuff we can take away from here and work on."
