Bullard played for the Cottagers between 2006 and 2009.
Now managing Leatherhead FC, Bullard appears to have made his new side everyone's favourite football team after making a video after their latest win that's gone VIRAL.
After Billericay Town won their Ryman League Cup final 8-3 over Tonbridge Angels last week, filming the team belting out R Kelly’s The World’s Greatest seemed like a great idea.
The video became a viral hit and propelled the club further into the public eye after their high-profile signings of former Premier League stars Paul Konchesky and Jamie O’Hara.
But, when you lose your next fixture, you have set yourselves up for a fall - a big fall.
In a must-win Isthmian Premier League clash, Leatherhead were the beneficiaries.
The two sides met on Saturday afternoon, with Leatherhead, coached by ex-Hull and Wigan funny-man Jimmy Bullard, running out 3-2 winners.
With Bullard at the forefront, conducting the orchestra, they belted out their own version of R Kelly’s most famous hit, and it is brilliant to watch.
An absolute joy.
Somehow - we reckon The World’s Greatest might not be blaring through the speakers in the Billericay dressing room any time soon.
