Chelsea skipper John Terry joked it was like London buses after netting for the second consecutive game to beat West Ham on Boxing Day.
Terry got one and Diego Costa got the other as the Blues dominated proceedings at Stamford Bridge today.
The fans’ favourite netted in Monday’s win at Stoke City and opened the scoring again in SW6 to keep Chelsea in the clear at the top of the Premier League.
“It's like buses,” Terry said of his second goal in two games for the Blues.
“I’m delighted. We watched a video before the game and we could see a bit of space in behind from the set plays.
“It’s not normally a run I’d make but luckily I managed to get in there and Diego flicked it on.
"We’re playing well and everyone can see that. We’ve got off to a good start but it’s important that remain calm.
"I see a hunger amongst the players who haven’t won the league here."
Next up for Chelsea is a trip to St Mary’s to play Southampton on Sunday.
