Ickenham Youth U12s A warmed up for the start of their league campaign with victory in the Burnham Junior pre-season tournament.
John Alexander's team, most of whom have developed together since they were six years old, kept six clean sheets from their seven games on their way to claiming the trophy.
After comfortably defeating Sandgate in the last four, a tense final against Burnham Blues went all the way to penalties, with Ickenham holding their nerve to emerge deserved 4-3 winners after dominating in normal time.
The victorious squad was Alfie Kernot, Ben Brownlee, Cormac Sibley, Jaiden Fitzgerald, Jake Shepherd, Joel Chamney, Joshua Abrahams, Mattie Regan, Muntasir Hussein, Ravi Thakrar Rocco Alessi and Sean Alexander.
