Chelsea’s three goalscorers at Hull City occupied the top three places in our man of the match ratings poll - but it was Eden Hazard who claimed the top prize.

The little Belgian wizard conjured up a cracker to get the Blues off to a flying start and scored an average rating of 8.4/10 for his performance.

Diego Costa made it 2-0 inside the opening 10 minutes at the KC Stadium and his showing, cut short by injury, was worthy of 7.4/10.

Costa’s replacement, Loic Remy, scored with virtually his first touch of the game to clinch victory after the Tigers had battled back to 2-2 in Yorkshire.

Thibaut Courtois, who was guilty of an error which helped Hull work their way back into the match, redeemed himself in the second period and scored 7/10.
