Chelsea have received more money from the Premier League's central income payments than any other side this season.

The Premier League champions have been awarded £98,999,554 by the league, over £34m more than bottom placed QPR.

The league's revenues from the sale of broadcasting rights and other commercial rights are awarded to teams based on their league position and number of times they have been shown live on TV in the UK.

The money is distributed at a rate of 1.53:1 between the club finishing top and the one finishing bottom, making it the most equitable method of distributing money of the major European leagues.

Half of the UK broadcasting revenue is split equally among the 20 teams in the league.

A further 25 per cent is distributed based on league position, while the remaining 25% is based on the number of times the side is shown on live television.

All international broadcast revenue and other commercial revenue is split equally amongst the 20 clubs.

Manchester City earned the second highest amount from the league at £98.5m.

They're followed by Manchester United on £96.8m, Arsenal on £96.5m and Liverpool on £92.8m.

QPR earned the least from the league at £64.9m followed by Burnley (£65.4m), Hull (£66.6m), Aston Villa (£68.6m) and Sunderland (£69.9m).

Overall, the revenues distributed to Premier League clubs this season is £42.1m higher than it was for the 2013-14 campaign, an average of an extra £2.1m extra per team.
