Harrow Borough boss Dave Anderson says any points they can pick up at Ryman Premier League leaders Margate on Saturday will be a ‘bonus’.

Borough head to Kent having fallen back into the drop zone following the 2-1 home defeat to 10-man Billericay Town at the weekend.

And Anderson, pictured, admits his team have a tough ask to come away with anything from the clash with Terry Brown’s side and highlighted the following two home games against relegation rivals Tonbridge Angels on Tuesday night and Lewes next Saturday where they they need to make sure they pick up points.

“Anything we get out of Margate will be a bonus but of course we will give everything we’ve got to try to get a result,” said Anderson.

“After the way we played against Basingstoke in the FA Trophy we know we are capable of doing something but it is the two games after that we have to get points on the board.”

Grey Ngoyi got his first goal for the club in the defeat to Billericay and Anderson hopes the striker can kick on from that.

He added: “He’s still getting up to match fitness but we know he is a threat and I’m sure we will reap the benefits once he gets up to speed.”

Anderson also has Carl McCluskey available again after the midfielder made his comeback from a broken hand in Tuesday night’s London Cup second round win at Hanwell Town.

Borough prevailed 9-8 on penalties after George McCluskey cancelled out Dayo Olufemi’s opener for Hanwell.

It was unlucky 13 for Borough’s tenants Hendon who saw their Ryman premier unbeaten run end with a 4-1 defeat at Bognor Regis Town on Saturday.

Belal Aite-Ouakrim scored the consolation for the Greens who beat Enfield Town 1-0 in the Robert Dyas Cup second round in midweek, Kezie Ibe with the winning strike.

Hendon host VCD Athletic on Saturday before making the trip to Leiston on Tuesday night.

Wembley edged out Berkhamsted 4-3 on Tuesday night in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division thanks to a Joe Wright brace and goals from Zaine Gangadeen and Alex Witham.

That came after Yassine Fehmi-Gil scored twice as the Lions thumped Cockfosters 5-0 on Saturday with Witham, Gangadeen and Reon Thomas also on target.

Ian Bates’ side have no scheduled game at the weekend but host Biggleswade United on Tuesday night.

Stuart Blackburne scored the only goal as Edgware Town beat Codicote 1-0 on Saturday and they will look to build on that against Winslow United at the weekend.

Elsewhere, Rayners Lane have been reinstated into the Flying Press Floodlit Cup after opponents Carteron, who won 2-1, fielded an illegible player in their third round tie last month.

Lane’s Hellenic Division One East match at home to Old Woodstock Town was postponed at the weekend because of a partially frozen pitch and they return to action at Finchampstead on Saturday.
