HIGH-FLYING Hanworth Villa twice threw away the lead - as well as the chance to cut the gap at the top of Combined Counties Division One to four points - on Tuesday night.

They twice took the lead through Steve Reddings at home to Knaphill but were twice pegged back for a 2-2 draw, conceding the second in the last minute.

Villa are now six points behind lead-ers Mole Valley SCR, but with a game in hand, and are three clear of Staines Lammas in third, but have played a game more.

Dorking and Knaphill can also still catch up with them if they win their games in hand.

Villa's point on Tuesday followed the three they gained on Saturday with a 3-0 win over Sheerwater.

Daryl North, Benny Reed from the penalty spot, and Steve Loveridge notched Villa's goals within the opening 20 minutes.

They have a derby away at Feltham on Saturday.

However, Feltham go into the game on the back of two wins in a week.

Goals from Ryan Curtis, Jon-Jo Bates, Steve Baxter and new signing from Bedfont, Daniel Johns, earned a 4-0 win over Sheerwater on Wednesday night.

And the Blues followed that with a 1-0 win at Farleigh Rovers on Saturday, thank to Curtis's winner just before half-time.

Also in Division One, CB Hounslow United will be out to bounce back from last Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Dorking, in which Mark Peters notched, when they host Coulsdon United on Saturday.
