Brentford captain Harlee Dean is one of several high profile stars set to take part in a charity football match in aid of those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

The match is set to take place later today.

In addition to Dean, other stars taking part include former QPR man Ravel Morrison, Portsmouth striker Jamal Lowe and Peterborough midfielder Anthony Grant, along with a number of semi-pros and social media personalities.

The event was organised by former footballer Marvin Morgan, who has enlisted the help of a number of celebrities to put on the charity match in Hertford.

The game will be between Team FEK – named after Morgan's clothing brand Fresh Ego Kid – and a team selected by James Mulley and Leon Skinner founders of The Hangout, an exclusive members social event held in London on Sundays, and who are also close friends of heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua.

The match will also be filmed with Arsenal Fan TV personality Troopz on commentary duty.

Speaking to the mirror, Morgan said: "There were a few interviews on the news after it happened that really got to me. I was watching them and thinking “this is horrible.”

“And if you are in a position to help people, why would you not help?

“I have a clothing company and people need clothes. I personally don't think I have done anything amazing in that sense.

“I have bags of clothes sitting in my warehouse so I might as well give them to those who have been left without rather than sending them to Jamaica, which was the plan.”
