SUPER-SUB Antonio German earned QPR a point against high-flying Swansea City.

The young striker came off the bench to bundle home Rowan Vine's cross 15 minutes from time as honours ended even at Loftus Road.

Swansea started the stronger, and the hosts had a let off when Nathan Dyer beat the offside trap and then keeper Carl Ikeme, only to see his effort hit the inside of the post and bounce out across the face of the goal.

Matt Hill was fortunate not to put through his own net when he deflected Dyer's shot just over the top minutes later as the Welsh side dominated early on.

QPR had the ball in the net on 37 minutes through Adel Taarabt , only to be denied by the linesman's flag.

However, Swansea's pressure eventually paid off 10 minutes after the interval when Guillem Bauza's throughball hit Hill in the back, and Dyer pounced to slot the loose ball past Ikeme from 12 yards.

Neil Warnock threw on Lee Cook, German and Vine as they tried desperately to find a way into the game.

And they found it 15 minutes from time when Vine's cross was scrambled over the line by German to square things up.

Matt Connolly thought he'd stole all the points for the hosts late on, but his header was chalked off for offside.
