Fulham are working with the same architects that worked on the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, Manchester City's Etihad and the London Stadium for their Riverside Stadium redevelopment.
Populous have been working with the club over the past few months on revisions to the design of the Riverside Stand, something which Shahid Kahn had been keen to do since seeing the original plans.
The club told the Fulham Supporters' Trust that they hope begin consultation in October, which would include supporters, prior to submitting any planning applications to Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
In May, an interview appeared with Kevin Underwood, director at Buckingham Group , who revealed Mr Khan had put a hold on work on the stand two weeks before work was due to start in order to review the designs.
Mr Khan is keen to make full use of the revenue streams that hospitality and the kiosks in the new stand can provide to the club and is keen to make swift progress on the redevelopment.
