FULHAM are lining up John Pantsil for his first Premiership game since Boxing Day when the Whites face Wolves at home tomorrow.

The right-back has played two reserve matches and is ‘100 per cent fit’, after recovering from knee ligament damage, according to boss Roy Hodgson .

What’s more the Ghanaian defender is not registered for the Europa League clash with Hamburg on Thursday, and so has this chance to get match fitness denied him over the last four months.

Andy Johnson is a long-term injury, but apart from that Hodgson, revealed he gave the rest of the squad both Monday and Wednesday off to recover from the stresses and strains of playing Thursday-Sunday-Thursday games since the middle of January.

However, the clash with Mick McCarthy’s team comes a game too early for Clint Dempsey .

Hodgson is keeping his fingers crossed the American striker is fit for the crucial clash in Germany.
